The cafe actually locates quite closed to the office, but it still can't induce must interest for us to have a try. On that day, after work, finally got a chance to on the steps and into the cafe to have a try.

There were lots of choices and price ranged from around HK$60 to a few hundred. From the very beginning, guessed that the size of the burger will be huge. So I didn't order any other side dishes or drink. Just ordered a Southern Swine as it contained beef and beacon.

There were still lots of illusions from my head about how the burger would look like when still waiting.

However, when it came to real thing, a little disappointed.

Not very big, just a little bit bigger than the burger in McDonald's. Could say the ingredients were a bit different, with thicker beef, beacon and vegetables. However, the taste was not that good as I guessed. The beef was not juicy enough while the beacon was not crunchy.

It was only fair as a whole. If it was not located in Central, I do not think it can survive long in Hong Kong.

Visited the store with a colleague who was born in London and had been working in Hong Kong for several months. Originally planned to look for some shoes only. But beyound of expectation, my colleague found a savoury snack that he loved to eat in London and suprisingly, it was there in Hong Kong.Actually, it was my first time try to this kind of English food. A bit salty but still fine. Could feel that it was a bit oily as we ate it right out from the fridge. My colleague said that the English people always serve this food cold. However, if possible, I prefer to have it hot so that it will not be that oily feel and more like sausage roll.

First time to have a non-cheese cake from Sweet Secrets. It was extremely good and out of expectation.

It was a Lychee Honey with Osmanthus Mousse Cake. Unlike cheese cake, the taste was light and fresh filled with the sweetness of lychee and honey. Osmanthus was the key of the cake. Personally, I thought this ingredient was for Chinese food only. But after this experience, I can say it can blend perfectly with the western style as well.

It's good for having it after lunch.

Will have several training during lunchtime. So, will need to order take-away from different restaurants. This time, we tried the Vietnamese-French style. This restaurant actually serves mainly sandwiches. The bread is in French style, while fillings are Vietnamese food. As I do not prefer the hard French bread style in Hong Kong, I changed it to herb panini.The bread itself is softer, but to salty. I really didn't expect the herb style will be in that kind of salty taste.

The fillings were Vietnamese food like pork and vegetables.They were fine, but just didn't fit the bread much.

Thanks to my colleague that I had a chance to try this fabulous cake. When looking at the surface of the cake, just think that it was a normal Angel Cake as produced by Maxim's.However, when cutting it, I could see a rainbow inside. It was actually different fruit tastes.It was a very wonderful cake with such a big surprise to us.

A coupon got in Apr because of a charity day held by Ben & Jerry's and very glad that I could keep it till today (Jun 30), which was also the deadline for enjoying a free scoop of this new flavour: Peanut Butter. When I heard this, I felt a bit strange as it is really a new flavour of ice-cream to me. Out of surprise, it is not bad. I got a feeling like eating peanut butter (which was the experience when I was young), but in sweet taste.

Finally, found a new restaurant for lunch in Central. It was about 10-min walk from the office. At first, we did not have any idea of which one is better in the area. So just entered this one at random.

It serves western food. I picked Baked Spaghetti.The overall quality was fine. The spaghetti was in good shape and not "sticky" as that you may usually find in Hong Kong style cafes.Just one comment is that the taste was a bit light. I needed to add salt on it.

I was wondering on where to have dinner in Wan Chai last week. Lots of choices became hard to make a choice. Finally, when still a bit lost on the street, I looked up on a building and found a signage about Tony Roma's. A long missed restaurant. It reminded me about a good dining experience in Bangkok. Then I got up and tried it.

Sat by the window, there was a good view on the busy street downstairs. It was a good compliment for the dinner.It started with bread and butter.Didn't get much surprise from the bread, but liked the butter with herb very much. A taste out of ordinary.But didn't know why it came to the main course before another appetizer. Anyway, as it was ready, I enjoyed the main course first. It was a special pack with steak and pork ribs.Though I had ordered medium for the steak, it was still not smooth enough when I tried to cut it. I also needed to pay higher effort for chewing it. So a bit disappointed.However, still glad to have quality ribs. The meat was well done and good match with the sweet & sour sauce on it.The appetizer came. It was the union rings. The outlook was good. However, as I had finished the main course before it, it was a bit heavy at that moment.Finally, the meal was finished with a dessert, Apple Crisp. A very sweet dessert combo with vanilla ice-cream and sour apple. A good match. But if it was less sweet, it would be perfect.

This shop actually locates just 1-min walk from my office. However, I didn't have a chance to have the ice-cream before. Maybe it's not the most favourite brand for me. However, this time, as introduced by the colleague, there was a Charity Day organized. By donating just $10 to Salvation army, I could get a cone free. Really surprised and was happy to do it. (P.S. do not have $10 note with me at the moment, so I gave $20)
