Gnocco Fritto

Our meal started off with this complimentary appetiser. It is crispy on the outer, but soft, airy and chewy on the inside. It is sprinkled with some mozzarella cheese, which you could pair with sides such as tomato sauce and pickled eggplant. ----------------------------
Bone Marrow Oreganata $268

Oreganata is usually saved for seafood but the restaurant has perfectly combined it with bone marrow. The flavour of the succulent bone marrow is enhanced by  salsa verde and bacon onion jam, with exploding flavours delighting your taste buds 😋You can spread the luscious marrow on the fett’unta, a crispy Tuscan bread drizzled with olive oil. ----------------------------
Shiitake Rubbed USDA Skirt Steak $388

Ordered a medium skirt steak, which is juicy and fender with robust flavours.  The steak is perfectly paired with thinner-cut fries tossed with grated Pecorino cheese, and the truffle adds a savoury and earthy note to the dish. ----------------------------
Spicy Rigatoni alla Vodka $248

This signature dish doesn’t disappoint 😎 The waitress will grate cheese, allowing you to dictate when it’s enough 😙 The tomato sauce is quite creamy and thick, and the chilli sauce gives a flavourful spicy kick. ----------------------------

This mocktail certainly gives a refreshing boost to the meal! The fizzy and sweet bubbly base with hints of acidity is also perfect for summer😆

The buffet bar centered at the restaurant provides a wide array of food items including lobster, mussels, shrimps, prosciutto, burrata cheese, octopus salad, smoked salmon.

I personally recommend the octopus salad the most. With intense Mediterranean flavours from the extra virgin olive oil, parsley and lemon juice, it is seasoned to perfection. The boiled octopus has the perfect firm and chewy texture too!----------------------------

Grass Fed Natural Argentina Premium Beef Sirloin $398

I must say, the portion of the steak is HUGE! The sirloin is a thick cut of meat, with an extra crispy crust and a tender center. The Argentinan seasonings, especially the acidic aged balsamic sauce, definitely make the quintessentially beefy flavor pop! Lobster Linguine Pasta with Zucchine and Cherry Tomato Sauce $448

In addition to the surprisingly generous chunks of fresh lobster meat in the pasta, the garlicy and creamy flavour of the linguine certainly impresses me. The subtle spicy and tomatoey taste also reduces the greasiness of the dish.----------------------------
Dessert: Panettone Pudding with Gelato & Chocolate Sauce (+$58)

Panettone is an authentic Italian dessert that has a dense and moist texture. While it is rich and buttery, it is a bit too sweet for me - but defo marks a perfect end to the meal!

Majestic Lisboa is a newly opened authentic Portugese restaurant in Po Hing Fong, a cool and vibrant neighbourhood. Stepping into a restaurant with golden, lavish interior feels like embarking on a little getaway. 
Its weekday lunch menu is under $100 which is a great deal! ----------------------------

The squid salad is super delicious and refreshing! The salad is super tender and delicate without requiring much chewing. The tastes of onion red pepper, coriander blend well with each other.  ▪️Arroz de Marisco for 2 $588

Finally got to try the authentic piri piri chicken after attempts of making piri piri chicken with ready-made sauce at home. The chicken has a combination of tangy and smoky flavours. It also has a slightly charred skin and succulent texture 🤤 ▪️Premium pastel de nata and port wine baked $65

It has a crispy and flaky exterior with a smooth custard. Port wine infuses the pastry with a hint of fruity sweetness, while cinnamon powder makes it more flavourful.

Newly opened at Taikoo Shing, FIGS & Apero is an al fresco Mediterranean restaurant & bar. It delicately incorporates warm spices to meats, veggies and grains that create vibrant flavours. The wide use of dark-brown wood and greenish blue furnishes with hints of red create a cozy ambiance perfect for gatherings and dates.

FIGS is currently having special promotions on weekdays, such as Monday Mussel Mania (all you can eat mussels at $248), Tuesday Taco Night (all you can eat tacos at $198) and Wagyu Wednesday (all you can eat wagyu at $378). The scallop ceviche with pickles and mango salsa are very fresh and appetizing. The baked camembert is a gooey and creamy melted cheese - what a perfect match with baguette! 
The ham croquette has a crunchy crust and buttery center. The diced ham also adds in great umami! The lobster bisque is creamy and luscious, with tender lobster meat pieces in each spoonful of it.
