The skin of the threadfin was grilled to perfection, giving it a super crispy texture, while the meat remained juicy and tender. The pistachio gelato was really lovely as well, bursting in flavors with a very smooth texture. Would totally come back for more! 📍 鳥匠 Yakitori Torisho Address: LG/F, Harilela House, 79 Wyndham Street, Central 中環雲咸街79號夏利里拉行地下低層 Pretty underwhelming meal at Torisho the other night. Everything was really salty except for the corn, which was miserably lacking in flavors 🥲

Still one of my favorite spots for dinner gatherings! Some of the must-order items include: - Baby squid (highly recommended!). Already sold put when we wanted to order it for the 2nd time last night! - Chicken paella. Super tender and juicy chicken and richly flavored rice. - Udon topped with crab meat and a half boiled egg. Tastes even better than it looks! Their starters are great too FYI there’s a min spend of $650 per head from Fri to Sun

I always had a hard time looking for affordable (or at least reasonably priced) options in Central, so I was very glad to come across this lovely sushi bar on the ground floor of Central Market. The cute soy sauce-shaped lights caught my eyes so we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the $398 omakase set, consisting of 10 pieces of sushi, 1 sushi roll and 1 soup/ rice. The sashimi was all fresh and the shari was lovely seasoned and at the right temperature. The sushi roll was also nice but I was really jealous of those who got a toro roll! (saw that on Insta haha) We also added 3 glasses of sake which was reasonably priced at $88. Loved how the staff introduced each of the sake to us and he told us we could get them at the sake shop right next to the sushi bar if we liked it! Overall a lovely lunch, especially as we were looking for a quick and affordable sushi fix 😊

📍 Carna by Dario Cecchini 尖沙咀赫德道8A號Mondrian Hong Kong39樓 So impressed with this new steakhouse in TST! With a prime location, killer view of the harbour and amazing food & service, it’s definitely a perfect spot for your celebrations / watching the fireworks🥂 I love their USA M5 wagyu chunk flap steak which was super tender and juicy. 📍 Arbor 25/F, H Queen's, 80 Queen's Road Central, Central Highly recommend Arbor’s private dining room for your future celebrations and private gatherings. The private dining room can cater 8 guests max and the minimum spending is reasonably set at $6000 for lunch (plus 10% service charge), which you can easily meet by ordering their holiday lunch menu ($888 per person) or their signature menu ($1288 per head). Their food is excellent as always, combining nordic and Japanese elements to present simple but elegant dishes like the signature toro pancake and grilled pigeon (with the super cute pigeon leg on the side!) I like their soy milk dessert as well which is on the lighter side so the meal wouldn’t have an overwhelming finish. Taste: 👅👅👅👅 Value for Money: 💰💰💰💰 Service: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Will I go again? Their weekend lunch menu is of great value for money. You can get 2 courses at $168 and 3 courses at $198. Honestly I think the pear tart dessert is quite forgettable so I’d recommend you to get the 2-course lunch and maybe order a couple starters for sharing off their a la carte menu. We ordered 1.5 dozen of oysters to share, and they were all very fresh. As for the main course, I got the ribeye and my friends got the lamb shank which was huge. The ribeye was nicely cooked and seasoned, with some veggies on the side. My friends said the lamb shank was delicious as well.

📍 Leela Shop 301-310, 3/F, Lee Garden Three, 1 Sunning Road, Causeway Bay Not sure if we ordered all the right stuff or if everything on their menu was just great, we loved everything we had at Leela the other night! 🤤 If you’re lazy and don’t wanna choose, just follow our order: Starter- Jackfruit and soya keema daeli (which is basically a bun stuffed with jackfruit, tamarind chutney and caramelized onions and full of vibrant flavors) Tandoor & Grills- Loved Chef Manav Tuli’s Lamb chops since his time at Chaat. Also tender, juicy and full of flavors. Can’t get enough of them! Curry & Biryani- Smoked butter chicken. I guess one can never go wrong with ordering butter chicken at an Indian restaurant? 🤓 Amazing curry with a generous amount of tender chicken pieces. Pairs best with their garlic naan 🫓 (PS Would love to try their bone marrow biryani next time!) Drinks: Sweet lassi (probably the only thing I’d complain about as it’s really bland with no flavors at all) Last but not least, please save room for a cup of their amazing chai at the end of the meal- it’s so good!!

📍 Scarlett Cafe & Wine Bar G/F, 2 Austin Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui Scarlett is one of my go-to for a good-valued steak & wine dinner. They’re now doing a promotion where you can get a great discount on their wines when you order one of their signature steaks, which is right up my alley HAHA Their mac & cheese is great too- very cheesy and nicely baked with crispy crusts on the side 😍 I also like their weekend brunch which offers an option for free flow oysters for 2 hours! Keep this place in mind for your next dinner/ brunch plans 🥂

We have a family tradition to go yumcha on the first day of the year and we opted for the Spring Moon today. We ordered 8 dim sums and their signature fried rice. My favorite dim sum was the pork cheung fun as the rice roll was very thin and the pork fillings were delicious. I also liked the 咸水角which was in the shape of a chicken (sorry I didn’t get a pic of that!). The fried rice was as good as always with the rice cooked to the perfect consistency and with a generous amount of toppings.
