We've visited A-xing Rice Roll several times before, but this visit to the Tseung Kwun O branch marks our first time. The ambiance here is spacious and cozy, with approximately 15 seats available for customers. Each dish was immensely satisfying, prepared fresh upon ordering, ensuring that the rolls remained soft and warm. Additionally, they provided disposable gloves, maintaining cleanliness and comfort for customers. Furthermore, their thoughtful gesture of offering a toy for my daughter added a sweet touch to our dining experience.
The Crab Rice Roll boasted a rich assortment of ingredients, including crispy fried dough, shiitake mushrooms, lettuce, shredded pork, and sizable crab sticks, all complemented by mayonnaise, and enriched with nutritious purple rice, creating a medley of textures and flavors.
Equally abundant in ingredients, the Taiwanese Sausage with Salted Egg Rice Roll featured the main attractions of salted egg yolk and Taiwanese sausage, paired harmoniously with lettuce, shredded pork, and fried dough, a combination that particularly appealed to my taste.
As for the beverages, the Oolong tea exuded a refreshing aroma with chewy nata de coco. The Brown Sugar Black Pearls Milk Tea stood out with its chewy pearls infused with smoky sweetness, perfectly balanced with the tea flavor, and not overly sweet.
