Chili con Carne means chili and meat in Spanish. It is one of the most common dishes in America and North America.
Ingredient and Portion
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 chili pepper, chopped
2 onions, chopped
1 pack minced lean beef
1 can tomatoes with liquid
1 can kidney beans
oil
Seasoning
2 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp oregano
salt, black pepper, cumin, cinnamon
Method
1. Sauteed onion, chopped chili, pepper, garlic. Add beef, cook until it becomes brown.
2. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, cumin and cinnamon. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
3. Stir in kidney beans, cook for another 15 minutes. Serve.
Tips
Serve Chili con Carne with rice, or tortilla chips for a full Tex-Mex experience!
