由港島區特登過海嚟九龍城試吓金寶菜館,佢哋有越南菜同埋泰國菜,兩間舖頭係隔, 所以去任何一邊都可以食到泰國菜同越南菜。我屋企人就叫咗泰國菜,海南雞飯,豬頸肉飯, 我就叫咗個越式生牛肉湯河,同埋泰式炒通菜。泰國菜方面水準OK,不過不失,千祈唔好期望過高。佢嗰個海南雞飯,雖然係油飯,但是味道一般。最差係生牛肉湯河,直程係茶餐廳版本嘅生牛肉湯河。湯底差,生牛肉係好似雪藏咗好耐,擺到喺湯裏面半個鐘都未熟,慘不忍睹。真係冇諗過一間越南餐館可以做出咁差嘅牛肉湯河。奉勸大家千其不要叫生牛肉湯河。要食好嘅越南菜泰國菜,港島區可能好啲。 continue reading

用餐當日係8月尾的星期日晩約6點45,雖然時間仲早,但因為宋皇臺地鐵站開通了才不久,站吸引咗好多人過嚟食飯,街上的泰國餐廳全部已經要排隊。見呢一間主打越南菜嘅餐廳仲有位,便入去用餐。呢間都係九龍城老字號,質素有保證。我哋叫咗炸蝦餅,椰菜雞絲沙律,青木瓜沙律,大泰式拼盤,酸辣海鮮湯,椰青海鮮焗飯和泰式炒粉。呢間餐廳係用電話自己落單,上菜速度都好快。兩個沙律先上,原來兩個沙律係差唔多只差咗一個有雞絲,一個冇,係越式沙律,用魚露調味。個拼盤好大份,有香葉包雞,串燒,炸春卷和炸蝦餅,分量大味道達水準。個焗飯面有三隻大蝦,滿滿的飯。泰式炒粉有啲失望,唔似平時食開嘅,呢嗰可能冇乜落笳汁,色水偏黑。呢間餐廳環境乾淨,座位唔逼。待應服務態度好。 continue reading
