This is my regular Thai place that I go to with my boyfriend and friends. I have been here dozens of times, mostly for dinner but also a few times for lunch. I have yet to be disappointed with the food or the service. It's not super cheap but not pricey either - a good balance and you get super fresh, good quality food in return. Hence why I go back.I usually order the rice-paper rolls, the laab, the papaya/grapefruit salad (they are rather interchangeable and I can never remember which I prefer
I usually order the rice-paper rolls, the laab, the papaya/grapefruit salad (they are rather interchangeable and I can never remember which I prefer), pork neck (which comes sprinkled with coriander seeds which is wonderful touch) the flat rice noodles, the various curries (although I’m ambivalent about curries in general), and the beef salad.
For most dishes, you can choose which meat you’d prefer – prawn, pork or beef. Bring your own booze or enjoy their sodas.
Finally, if you manage to save room, of course go for the mango sticky rice with the purple and white rice in equal parts. Be sure to specifically ask for the purple rice. At one point they stopped stocking it because people were spooked by the description for some reason!
One of the waitresses is a sister of the chef and she’s just lovely. Like my boyfriend says – she’s the hardest working waitress in Thai-business!
Other Info. :
They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait. On this occasion, we went early enough (by around 7 on a Monday) so we didn't have to wait.
