今日約了大學同學聚舊,她就約我來到這間位於西營盤的「Verde Mar」。我好奇餐廳的名稱,所以查了一下,就學識了原來Verde Mar 西班牙文,即Green Sea 的意思。朋友話餐廳主打健康自然的風格,亦都是hku 附近的一間熱門小店。餐廳是以墨西哥菜為主題的餐廳,裝潢以仙人掌和牛油果為主題,Verde Mar亦都有個戶外花園自家種植仙人掌,內裡配上白色的牆身,令人一入來就感到非常平和舒服。既然餐廳是主打墨西哥菜,又以牛油果為招牌菜式,我們就一於點一些平時很少機會食到的,看看牛油果搭墨西哥菜會是怎樣的一回事。☑ 1. Avocado Toastda (homemade corn toastda, spread with guacamole mash and avocado, topped with ranchero cheese and chili flakes)(自製玉米托斯塔,塗上鱷梨醬和牛油果,撒上蘭切羅乳酪和辣椒片)Avocado Toastda是一個地道墨西哥風格的開胃小點。Verde Mar自製的corn toastda(粟米脆餅)帶有濃郁的粟米香氣,再塗上牛油果醬和大量新鮮的牛油果,增添了像奶油般的滑順口感。廚師還加了蘭切羅芝士(ranchero cheese) 和辣椒片(chili flakes) ,為牛油果脆餅帶來了微辣和芝士的風味。看得出餐廳絕不吝嗇,牛油果充分鋪滿了脆餅上,喜愛食牛油果的人就是滿足。2. Steak Arrachera Carne Asada(US prime angus steak, served with guacamole and fresh salsa)(美國特級安格斯牛排,配上牛油果醬和新鮮莎莎醬)Steak Arrachera Carne Asada 牛排經過烹飪後保持了肉質的鮮嫩和多汁度,每一口都能感受到牛肉的細膩口感和豐富的肉汁。重點是餐牌上寫着low fat but tender and flavorful,即是Arrachera牛肉是採取了不肥膩但又稔滑及牛味濃郁的部位,正正就是墨西哥的特色菜式。餐廳再配上牛油果醬和特製莎莎醬,增添了墨西哥風味的調味料,將牛肉沽一下,使肉味更加惹味香口。☑ 3. Avocado Smoothie(牛油果沙冰)Verde Mar 的招牌飲品Avocado Smoothie,以新鮮牛油果調製,口感綿密順滑,牛油果帶有微甜的風味,搭配冰沙的涼爽感,給人一種清新感覺。☑ 4.
