每次經過前身是警察宿舍時,總會想起黎明的一套戲,有時望著破落的舊址時,很想偷偷的跑進去窺看。不經意地,原址已搖身一變,成了時尚的集中地PMQ,不單有文化工作室,更有米芝蓮食肆的出現,隱約成了上環的地標。Isono Eatery & Bar有著型格時尚的裝潢,處處透出悠閒舒適的感覺,既可以倚著吧檯,跟朋友聊天,又可以三五知已喝一杯,來一個Fine Dining,想有點私隱?也有廂房可供選擇。對於部份對酒類不大熟悉的朋友,餐前想喝一杯都會遇上難題,難得有tasting portion,只不過一口氣要點三杯,Isono Negroni及Smoke &Knives都是一個不錯的選擇。望著Isono’s pata negra platter,已感覺到那60個月的iberico ham在向在下招手,旁邊的Salami及Lomito彷彿成了陪襯品,深沉的色澤,代表了肉質經長時間的風乾,油脂豐盈又夠咸香,充滿嚼口而肉味濃郁,好吃得沒話說。再來的Scallop Carpaccio with fennel and mandarine dressing賣相有點嚇人,但吃來卻是煙煙韌韌,又有少許茴香的清新,是

望著Isono’s pata negra platter,已感覺到那60個月的iberico ham在向在下招手,旁邊的Salami及Lomito彷彿成了陪襯品,深沉的色澤,代表了肉質經長時間的風乾,油脂豐盈又夠咸香,充滿嚼口而肉味濃郁,好吃得沒話說。

COD Croquette起初還誤以為是薯波,外層炸得酥脆,切開一半看看,餡料原來是用上鱈魚肉,就算不蘸點sauce,也覺嫩滑可口。

另一道Main Course是Spanish dry-aged cote de boeuf,DA一向是牛迷的心頭好,連著骨膜位同烤,表面燒得焦香,而內裡仍能保持胭紅的色澤,在火喉上拿捏得不錯,濃郁的肉味,在齒頰間游走,每咀嚼一下都是享受,再灑點鹽去提鮮,更是令人回味。

想不到Isono的甜品,亦同樣帶來驚喜,Apple Tart Tatin的賣相已經吸引,外層有著層層疊疊的視覺效果,透出果香之餘,令人未食已經覺得香脆,餡料軟綿,又有蘋果應有的果酸,加上伴碟另有香草雪糕,鮮甜與微酸的對撞,成了絕佳的味蕾衝擊。
