Finally it’s my turn visiting @chaathongkong at @rosewoodhongkong ! Heard so many good comments and how ppl recommended it as the best place for Indian food in town, and therefore I was so looking forward to this meal.I really like the Baked Lamb Samosa ($158), it’s very crispy and the minced lamb is very flavourful and not gamey! I broke my ‘no lamb rule’ after a year just for this and I think it’s worth it😂For main course, we’ve ordered 2 Curries and 1 Tandoori. The Black Pepper Chicken Tikka

Finally it’s my turn visiting @chaathongkong at @rosewoodhongkong ! Heard so many good comments and how ppl recommended it as the best place for Indian food in town, and therefore I was so looking forward to this meal.

I really like the Baked Lamb Samosa ($158), it’s very crispy and the minced lamb is very flavourful and not gamey! I broke my ‘no lamb rule’ after a year just for this and I think it’s worth it😂

For main course, we’ve ordered 2 Curries and 1 Tandoori. The Black Pepper Chicken Tikka ($188) is ok but the chicken is a little bit dry. The Old Delhi Butter Chicken ($248) is creamy and kinda sweet coz the base is spiced tomato sauce. The fish in the Salem Fish Curry ($278) is very tender! We’ve had the curries with their Plain Naan ($78) and Garlic & Butter Naan ($78), and I like the Garlic butter one more.
To me both the curries are not spicy, which kinda surprises me. I can’t eat spicy food at all, for tamjai I can only take 10 mild😂 So you can imagine the spicy level for these curries. Also, they don’t have the pungent smell that normal curries would have. They are not bad just that it’s kinda different to what I’ve expected.

I must say their Nimbu Lemon Tart ($98) is so on point🍋 I’m a lemon tart lover and I will rate this 10/10! It’s very creamy and smooth, rich yet not overly sweet🤤 However the Pistachio Kulfi ($80) is not to my liking. The ice-cream is good but I’m not too sure to have it with the noodles🧐
I also want to mention that their tableware is very pretty and I almost asked the server where did they get them, but I was too shy to do so😂

Overall every dish was delicious, nice ambience and attentive service!👍🏻 I think they might have fine-tuned the recipes so to me it’s kinda like fusion Indian cuisine (?) It’s still worth trying tho!
