To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

On June 15 (Friday) and 16 (Saturday), we'll be serving special hot dishes, skewers and desserts for the occasion, including Honey-glazed Kagoshima Pork Loin, Seaweed Soft Shell Crab, Braised Oxtail with Polenta, Eel and Ox Tongue Yakitori, Smoky Whisky Chocolate Mousse Cake, Chocolate Coffee Tart, and Chocolate Whisky Ball. We'll also be pouring out complimentary selected beer, on the house for all the beloved dads. And that's all on top of over 200 delicious dishes and desserts served on rotation for The Astor's "Japan-Korea-topia" buffet! See you on Father's Day weekend!

The Astor presents “Japan-Korea-Topia”, a brand-new Japanese and Korean-themed lunch and dinner buffet, showcasing a delightful array of dishes that will transport guests to the vibrant streets of Tokyo and Seoul.

The main carvery section will serve up Slow-Cooked Marinated Beef Rump Cap in Galbi Style, Honey-glazed Teriyaki Pork Loin at the Carving Station, Japanese Beef & Whisky Pie, Korean Fried Chicken, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Stewed Korean BBQ Lamb Leg and more. The Robatayaki / grill Station will showcase irresistible bites including Saikyo Miso Yaki Farm Fish, Teriyaki Scallop, Grilled Salty Salmon Head, while the Tempura Station will offer delightful crispy treats, ranging from the classic Shrimp Tempura and Crab Cake Tempura to more unique bites like Cheese Cream and Oyster Cutlet.

Our popular raw / sashimi selection includes fresh Yellow Tail, carved on the spot, highly recommended and will be available at dinner time on weekends and public holidays. Seafood and Japanese food lovers cannot miss the limited offer - a free set of selected sea urchin* (HK$280 per set) for every 4 guests.

In addition to themed desserts like Fuji Apple Cheesecake, Muscat Grape Tart or Japanese Green Tea Lava Cake, guests can also add HK$120 to sample a selection of premium Japanese sakes from our brand new sake vending machine.

Visit the Churrasco Carving Station to savor beef, spring chicken, succulent pork, sausages and more, accompanied by a selection of Latino sauces like Chimichurri and a variety of hot sauces. Meat lovers do not miss out on the unbeatable taste of Barbecue Pork Ribs. Savor the authentic flavors of the tender and juicy inside with a crispy outside!

Indulge in Grilled Mexican Sweet Corn, a CDMX favorite, or enjoy a traditional Argentine snack empanada, filled with walnuts and Sweet potatoes, or a Choripán, served with toasted and crispy bread which is a simple but delicious traditional street food.

You cannot miss the various choices of tacos from the Live Taco Station. Delight in a Lobster and Seafood Paella that pays homage to the continent’s ties to Spain and serves as an indulgent treat for visitors at The Astor.
