To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 好出名嘅中菜餐廳,早咗兩個月book先book到星期五晚市,未開始食已經好期待!一嚟即刻叫啲前菜先,話梅車厘茄好好味,酸酸甜甜,話梅襯托下顯得車厘茄更加甜。反而金莎豆腐一般,椒鹽味太重,一度懷疑佢上錯咗椒鹽豆腐燒味揀咗個叉燒,見好多人推介,但我覺得一般,水準略高於一般燒味舖,但唔夠香亦都唔夠鬆軟。片皮鴨就好出色,鴨皮香得嚟唔肥膩,餅皮超薄,兩食先$598真係物超所值!蟶子好新鮮,可惜我食嗰隻略嫌過熟,有啲難𡁻。芝士蟹蓋都好好食,蟹味同芝士味都好出,食晒成個都唔覺得膩。杏汁豬肺湯就正常,但$180一位就貴咗少少。好少食蝦醬生菜呢個組合,幾香口,唔算太油。最後嚟一個甜品收尾,都係好食嘅,糖水舖水準。平日晚市仲有全單75折,去過好多酒店中餐優惠期間都會略降水準,逸東軒係維持水準,難怪booking咁full。
